Skyle for iPad
I got the Skyle eye control for the iPad. Do I need to set to my iPad?
The eye control for the iPad uses the Assistive Touch function of iOS 13. All changes that need to be made can be found in the download area at the bottom of this page.
I connected the eye control. However, the cursor does not move.
If the LEDs of the eye control are lit throughout, then the eye control is ready for use. This may take about 25 seconds. If this is the case, the “AssistiveTouch” feature must be activated on the iPad. All other precautions that need to be taken can be found in the manual.
The cursor jerks very strongly.
If you have received the eye control, there is a protective film on the disc. Please remove this slide.
The position of the cursor does not appear to be in the correct place.
Make sure that you have implemented all the necessary settings correctly. For example, if the speed of the mouse is set differently than described in the manual, a faulty position may occur.
The cursor no longer moves.
Skyle for iPad can be put into pause mode. This mode is there to watch movies undisturbed, for example. It is activated or deactivated by the user looking into the eye control for a few seconds.
How do I attach eye control to my tablet/iPad?
For tablets, we recommend the brackets and adapters from Rehadapt. The eye control can be mounted using the universal holder “GA EyeGaze holder”. When ordering, please specify that you are using Skyle Eye Control.
